YMI Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates ymidigital.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. In plain terms: we collect the little we need to reply to you and to see what’s working — nothing sold, nothing shared for marketing.

What we collect

Contact form submissions. When you fill out our contact form we collect your name, email address, company name, and the message you send. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

Analytics data.We use Vercel Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-first measurement tool — to see aggregate pages visited and page-performance (Core Web Vitals). It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and identifies no one: it tells us “a page was viewed”, never “who viewed it”. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking. Because it needs no consent, it is always on.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard web server logs: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp. These are retained for 30 days and used only for security and debugging.

Cookies we set

None for tracking. We set no tracking cookies, no ad pixels, and no fingerprinting. Our analytics is cookieless (see above), so there is nothing to consent to — which is why the cookie notice you may have seen is just that: a one-time notice, not an accept-or-decline gate.

The only things stored are two small, functional values kept in your browser’s localStorage. They never leave your device and identify no one: ymi_motion_pref remembers whether you asked us to reduce motion, and ymi_cookie_notice remembers that you dismissed the notice. Clear your browsing data for this site and both are gone.

That’s the whole list. No Google Analytics, no advertising networks, no third-party trackers — our fonts are self-hosted and the code is ours.

How long we keep it

Contact form data is retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and manage any resulting engagement, typically no longer than 2 years. Our analytics is aggregate and cookieless — there is no per-visitor analytics data to retain.
