We build the software.
You build the company.

We design, build, and scale web and mobile products. Small senior team. No handoffs. Code built to inherit.

Software either compounds or unravels. The difference is who builds it. Every engineer at YMI has shipped production software at scale — that's what you're hiring.

What we do

Three ways we engage. One standard of work.

Simple to start. Hard to outgrow.

No onboarding phases. No unnecessary layers. Just clear steps and working software.

  • 01

    Scope

We define the problem, map the architecture, and agree on what "done" looks like — before writing a line of code.

  • 02

    Build

Focused sprints with real progress. You see working software — not status updates.

  • 03

    Ship

We deploy to production, not staging. Code is reviewed, tested, and documented before handoff.

  • 04

    Support

We stay involved or hand off cleanly. Your team can take over without friction.

The pitch

Most agencies sell you a process.
We give you an engineering team.

We had a frontend our team couldn't move forward with. YMI came in, rebuilt the foundation, and within weeks we were shipping again. They didn't just write code — they fixed how we build.

FAQ

What founders actually ask.

Small and senior. Most projects run with 2–4 engineers, all with experience shipping production systems at scale. No juniors, no handoffs, no account managers.

We don't sell packages. Pricing depends on team size and scope, but most engagements fall between a focused 4-week build and a multi-month build-and-scale program. We'll send a written estimate after the discovery call — before any contract — so you can decide with real numbers, not a brochure.

Small, focused engagements — usually 4 to 16 weeks. Weekly sprints, weekly demos, code merged to main. Most projects roll into ongoing iteration or fractional tech-lead retainer.

TypeScript end-to-end. React and Next.js on the web, React Native on mobile, Node and Postgres on the backend. We use what we trust to inherit, not whatever's trending.

Usually 2–3 weeks from first call to first sprint. We'd rather tell you we're booked than stretch the team thin.

It usually does. Every Friday we look at what we built, what's next, and whether the plan still matches reality. Small changes get absorbed; bigger ones get a written re-scope before we touch the code. No surprise invoices.

You do. Full IP transfer is standard. When the engagement ends, you own the code, the architecture, and the documentation. No license fees, no lock-in.
